{The Ordinary Moments} #40 ‘Love’
Mr T
One of the most beautiful things in life is love. Mr T and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary at Fountains Abbey recently. Seven years in our marriage, I can honestly say that I love Mr T more each day. Every day I remind myself of how lucky I am, and every day I am a little bit scared that something will come along and take our happiness away. I know how crazy that sounds, but its something I just cant shake.
Mr T is my best friend and my soulmate. We can finish each others sentences, we can tell a story with a glance, our bond is deeper than words can explain. Our personality’s are different but they compliment and bring out the best in each other.
Mr T is supportive, he helps me put my worries and fears into prospective. He believes in me, he believes I can achieve my dreams. He tells me I am beautiful everyday, when I look my best and my worst.
I love the way his strong arms make me feel safe and loved, I love the way he never takes me for granted, but mostly, I love the he always puts me and our children before anything else. I think seeing him as a father to our children, seeing him hold them gently, reassure their fears and make them laugh and smile, has brought a completely different depth to our love.
Our Children
I want our children to know they are loved, they are safe and that I will always be here to talk about their worries and fears, no matter how big or small. They will write their own stories but I will believe in them. I love their relationships already;
I love how they include each other
I love how they thrive on fairness
I love how they want to be together
I love how they work as a team when something is difficult

Love, admiration and respect.
One of my friends on facebook recently commented this quote;
“The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother”
We dont know the author of the quote, but I think this works both ways (for mothers too). By showing the children that we love, admire and respect each other (and them), they will hopefully grow up expecting to be loved, admired and respected, and they wont settle for anything less.
Thank you Mr T, for being an amazing husband and a brilliant father, I love you more than words can say.
I am joining Katie from MummyDaddyMe for #TheOrdinaryMoments. Because love should be ordinary.
